A working transcript the same day

Waiting days for a typed transcript slows down everything that follows a hearing: the update for the client, the article, the next filing. MinutesMaster turns the recording into a speaker-labelled transcript with timestamps within minutes, so you can quote, search and check what was actually said straight away.

It is a working transcript made by speech recognition: good for preparation, notes and research, but not a certified or court-reporter transcript. Where an official record is required, rely on the court’s or tribunal’s own record and keep MinutesMaster for your working copy.

Set up your own template — parties, key statements, documents mentioned, open points — or use the General meeting format, and ask questions such as “where did the witness mention the contract date?” to get the answer with the exact moment. A 3-hour hearing uses 6 credits; the 5 free credits cover 2.5 hours.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is this a certified transcript?
No. MinutesMaster produces a working transcript by speech recognition. It is accurate enough for preparation, notes and research, but it is not certified and doesn’t replace an official court or tribunal record.
How long can a hearing recording be?
Up to 8 hours and 2 GB per file; a longer hearing day can be uploaded as two files. Every 30 minutes uses 1 credit.
Can it tell the judge, counsel and witnesses apart?
Speakers are separated by voice. Name each one once — for example “Counsel for the respondent” — and the name is used throughout the transcript and exports. Crosstalk and very quiet voices are where mistakes are most likely, so check those passages against the recording.
Am I allowed to record a hearing?
That depends on the court, the tribunal and the law where you are; many courts don’t allow private recordings. Use MinutesMaster only for recordings you may make or have received lawfully.
How quickly is the transcript ready?
Usually within 15 minutes for a 3–5-hour recording, and a minute or two for a short one.
Can I search the transcript or ask questions?
Yes. Search by words, or ask MinutesMaster a question; the answer cites the moments it used, with links to play them.
Who can see the recording?
Only you, unless you share the meeting with your team workspace. Recordings are never used to train AI models, and you can delete a meeting or your account at any time.
Which languages are supported?
38, including Czech, Slovak, German, Polish, Spanish, French, Italian and Romanian, and the transcript can be translated into any of them.
