German meetings, minutes already written

Send a bot to Microsoft Teams, Zoom or Google Meet, or upload a recording. MinutesMaster writes a German transcript with speaker names and a draft Besprechungsprotokoll — summary, decisions, tasks with owners and the next meeting.

A Besprechungsprotokoll without writing it by hand

Writing the Protokoll is the part of a meeting nobody volunteers for. MinutesMaster transcribes the meeting, separates the speakers by voice and writes structured minutes in German: attendees, agenda, a summary, decisions, tasks with owners and the next meeting, with detailed narrative minutes alongside. You review the draft and export it to Word or PDF.

German meetings in international teams are full of English: Roadmap, Deadline, Sprint, Stakeholder. You don’t need to choose a language before processing — mixed-language meetings stay in one transcript, and umlauts and ß are kept in the transcript, the minutes and every export.

Need the minutes in English for the parent company, or in Czech, Polish or Romanian for a team elsewhere? Pick the minutes language or translate later; the German original stays next to every version. The web app is available in German, and recordings are never used to train AI models.

How it works

How German transcription works

From a Teams call or a recording to a Protokoll draft in four steps.

  1. 1

    Capture the meeting

Paste the Teams, Zoom or Google Meet link to send the bot, upload audio or video up to 2 GB, record in the browser or the mobile app, or paste a YouTube or Google Drive link.

  2. 2

    Admit the bot if needed

When the organiser requires it, someone in the meeting admits “MinutesMaster AI” from the lobby. For Zoom, connect your Zoom account once and stay in the meeting.

  3. 3

    Review the Protokoll

Check decisions and tasks, set each speaker’s name once — with titles such as Dr. if you like — and edit any field.

  4. 4

    Export or translate

Download the minutes as Word or PDF, the transcript as TXT, or subtitles as SRT and VTT, and translate into English or any of the 38 languages.

Features

What you get from a German meeting

A Protokoll draft, the full transcript and translations for everyone else.

  • German with English terms

Meetings that mix German with English vocabulary, or with colleagues speaking English, are transcribed without choosing a language in advance.

  • Umlauts and ß kept

Ä, ö, ü and ß are kept in the transcript, the minutes and the PDF, Word, TXT, JSON, SRT and VTT exports.

  • Names and titles set once

Voices are separated automatically; bot recordings use participant names from the meeting, and any name you type is used everywhere.

  • Protokoll structure

Attendees, agenda, summary, decisions, tasks with owners and the next meeting, plus detailed narrative minutes.

  • Translations for the wider company

Translate the minutes or transcripts into any of the 38 languages and keep the German original alongside.

  • Word and PDF for the files

DOCX for editing, PDF for the archive, TXT and JSON for other tools, and SRT or VTT subtitles for recordings you publish.

Good to know

Good to know for German meetings

What teams in Germany, Austria and Switzerland ask about.

  • KI-Protokoll schreiben

Instead of pasting notes into a chatbot, let MinutesMaster write the Protokoll from the recording itself, with the transcript attached for checking.

  • Teams-Besprechung Transkript

The bot joins through the meeting link as a guest, so you get a transcript and minutes without switching on transcription in Teams. If your organisation blocks external guests, upload a recording instead.

  • Formal minutes

For a board or association meeting, the minutes are a structured draft; the person responsible for the official record reviews and approves it.

  • Tell participants about the recording

The bot appears in the participant list under its name, so everyone can see the meeting is being recorded. Mention it at the start, as you would with any recording.

  • Ask in German or English

Ask MinutesMaster about any past meeting and get answers with citations that play the exact moment in the recording.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can MinutesMaster write a Besprechungsprotokoll in German?
Yes. From a recording or a Teams, Zoom or Google Meet call it writes German minutes with attendees, agenda, summary, decisions, tasks with owners and the next meeting, which you can edit and export to Word or PDF.
Do I need Microsoft Copilot to get a transcript of a Teams meeting?
No. MinutesMaster joins the meeting as a guest through the link and records it itself, so it doesn’t depend on Copilot. If your organisation doesn’t allow external guests, upload a recording instead.
What about German meetings full of English terms?
That’s expected. You don’t choose a language before processing; mixed-language meetings stay in one transcript, and the minutes are written in German or the language you pick.
Can I get the minutes in English as well?
Yes. Choose English as the minutes language, or translate the German minutes and transcript later into any of the 38 languages. The original stays next to each translation.
Is the app available in German?
Yes. The MinutesMaster web app is available in German and 13 other languages.
How much does it cost?
1 credit covers 30 minutes of audio. New accounts get 5 free credits (2.5 hours) without a credit card; after that there are credit packs, Pro (€19 a month, 40 credits) and Business (€49 a month, 120 credits).
What happens to my data?
MinutesMaster is run by a Czech company under the GDPR and does not use recordings, transcripts or minutes to train AI models. Meetings stay private unless you share them, and you can delete any meeting or your account at any time.
