Korean audio to text, with the 회의록 already written

Upload a recording or send a bot to Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. MinutesMaster writes a Korean transcript with speaker names and 회의록 (meeting minutes) with decisions and action items — and translates them into English when colleagues need it.

Korean meetings, from recording to 회의록

Recording a meeting is easy; turning an hour of Korean audio into a 회의록 people actually read is not. MinutesMaster transcribes the recording, separates the speakers by voice and writes structured minutes in Korean — attendees, agenda, summary, decisions, action items with owners and the next meeting — plus detailed narrative minutes.

Korean product and engineering meetings are full of English: 배포 and 스프린트 next to “deadline” or “roadmap” said in English. Korean is detected automatically and mixed-language meetings are supported, so there is no language switch to remember, and Hangul is kept in the app and in the Word, TXT, JSON and subtitle exports.

Working with an office abroad? Translate the minutes or the full transcript into English, Japanese or any of the 38 languages; the Korean original stays next to each version. Recordings are never used to train AI models.

How it works

How Korean transcription works

Four steps from an audio file or a call to minutes you can share.

  1. 1

    Upload or send the bot

Upload audio or video up to 2 GB, record in the browser or the iPhone and Android app, paste a YouTube or Google Drive link, or paste a Zoom, Teams or Google Meet link to send the bot.

  2. 2

    Wait a minute or two

Minutes are usually ready about 1–2 minutes after an upload finishes (median 1.4 minutes for a 38-minute recording). Bot meetings are processed when the call ends.

  3. 3

    Name the speakers

Voices are separated automatically. Rename each speaker once — “김 팀장” or a full name, however your team refers to people — and the name is used everywhere.

  4. 4

    Share, export or translate

Export the 회의록 as Word, the transcript as TXT or subtitles as SRT and VTT, or translate both into English.

Features

What you get from a Korean meeting

A 회의록 for the team, the full transcript, and translations for everyone else.

  • Korean with English terms

Meetings that mix Korean and English are transcribed without choosing a language first, so product names and the Korean discussion stay in one transcript.

  • Hangul kept intact

The transcript is written in Hangul and stays that way in the app and in the DOCX, TXT, JSON, SRT and VTT exports.

  • Speakers by voice

Voices are separated automatically; with the bot, participant names from the call are matched to the voices, and any name you change applies to the whole meeting.

  • 회의록 structure

Attendees, agenda, summary, decisions, action items with owners and the next meeting, plus a detailed narrative version.

  • Translation both ways

Translate Korean minutes into English for head office, or English minutes into Korean for the team in Seoul; the original stays alongside.

  • Exports and subtitles

DOCX to edit, TXT and JSON for other tools, and SRT or VTT subtitles for Korean videos and webinars you publish.

Good to know

Good to know for Korean meetings

Situations Korean and international teams ask about.

  • For people who missed the meeting

The minutes list decisions and owners up front, so a teammate catches up in two minutes instead of replaying the recording.

  • Calls on other apps

The bot joins Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. For calls on other platforms, record the audio and upload the file — you get the same transcript and minutes.

  • Korean–English teams

Translate the minutes into English for colleagues abroad and keep the Korean version for the team; both stay attached to the same meeting.

  • User interviews

The Customer / user interview template turns a research interview into key insights, quotes with timestamps, pain points and requests.

  • Ask across meetings

Ask MinutesMaster what was decided about a feature last month and get an answer with cited moments you can play.

  • Interface language

The web app is available in English and 13 European languages and the mobile apps in English, but not in Korean. Transcripts and minutes of Korean meetings are in Korean.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How can I transcribe Korean audio to text?
Upload the audio or video file (up to 2 GB) or send the bot to a Zoom, Teams or Google Meet call. MinutesMaster detects Korean automatically and returns a transcript with speakers separated by voice, plus 회의록-style minutes.
Can I translate Korean audio to English text?
Yes. The meeting is transcribed in Korean first, then you translate the transcript or the minutes into English. Both versions are kept, so you can check the translation against the original.
Does it handle Korean and English in the same meeting?
Yes. Mixed-language meetings are supported, and you don’t choose a language before processing.
How long does it take?
Minutes are typically ready 1–2 minutes after an upload finishes; the median for a 38-minute recording was 1.4 minutes in October 2026.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New accounts get 5 free credits once — 2.5 hours of audio — without a credit card.
How much does Korean transcription cost?
The same as every language: 1 credit = 30 minutes. After the 5 free credits, buy a pack (€9 for 5 hours, €24 for 15, €69 for 50; pack credits never expire) or subscribe to Pro (€19 a month, 40 credits) or Business (€49 a month, 120 credits).
Who can see my recordings?
Only you, unless you share a meeting with your team. MinutesMaster is run by a Czech company and hosted in Europe under the GDPR, never trains AI models on your recordings, and lets you delete a meeting or your whole account at any time.
