Portuguese meetings, written up for every reader
Upload a recording or send a bot to Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. MinutesMaster writes a Portuguese transcript with speaker names and minutes with decisions and tasks — and translates them for colleagues who don’t read Portuguese.

Portugal, Brazil and everyone who works with them
Portuguese is the working language of teams in Lisbon, Porto, São Paulo, Luanda and Maputo, and MinutesMaster doesn’t ask which one you are in: there is no variant setting, because the language is detected from the audio. You get a transcript with speakers separated by voice and structured minutes — summary, agenda, decisions, tasks with owners and the next meeting.
Calls with international colleagues often slip into English, and Iberian teams move between Portuguese and Spanish. Mixed-language meetings stay in one transcript, and ã, õ, ç and every accent are kept in the transcript, the minutes and every export.
Choose the minutes language — Portuguese, English or any of the 38 — or translate later, with the original kept next to each version. The web app is available in European Portuguese, and recordings are never used to train AI models.
Inês Carvalho (04:27) — A obra está quase concluída, mas a licença da câmara ainda não chegou.
Tiago Ferreira (05:03) — Ligo amanhã para a câmara e envio o ponto de situação a todos até sexta-feira.
A abertura da loja do Porto mantém-se em maio, se a licença chegar até ao fim do mês.
Tiago Ferreira → ligar para a câmara e enviar o ponto de situação até sexta-feira
In English: the Porto store opening stays in May if the permit arrives by the end of the month; Tiago Ferreira calls the city council and sends a status update by Friday.
How Portuguese transcription works
Four steps from a call or a file to minutes you can send.
- 1
Capture the meeting
Upload audio or video up to 2 GB, record in the browser or the mobile app, paste a YouTube or Google Drive link, or send the bot to a Zoom, Teams or Google Meet call.
- 2
No variant to choose
Portuguese is detected from the audio, whether the speakers are from Portugal, Brazil or Africa, and a switch into English or Spanish stays in the same transcript.
- 3
Check names and decisions
Bot recordings take names from the meeting participants; for uploads, rename each speaker once. Edit decisions and tasks before you share.
- 4
Translate and export
Add an English version or any of the 38 languages, then download Word or PDF minutes, a TXT transcript, or SRT and VTT subtitles.
What you get from a Portuguese meeting
An ata draft, the full transcript and a version for colleagues abroad.
Portugal, Brazil and mixed meetings
European and Brazilian Portuguese are both processed as Portuguese, with no variant to pick, and meetings that switch to English or Spanish stay in one transcript.
Ã, õ and ç intact
Tildes, cedillas and accents are kept in the transcript, the minutes and the PDF, Word, TXT, JSON, SRT and VTT exports.
Speakers named once
Voices are separated automatically; bot recordings use participant names, and a name you type once is used everywhere.
Minutes shaped like an ata
Attendees, agenda, summary, decisions, tasks with owners and the next meeting, plus detailed narrative minutes — a draft of your ata da reunião.
English for the wider company
Translate the minutes or the full transcript into English or any of the 38 languages; the Portuguese original stays alongside.
Exports for every reader
DOCX for editing, PDF for sending, TXT and JSON for other tools, and SRT or VTT subtitles for recordings you publish.
Good to know for Portuguese meetings
Situations Portuguese-speaking teams ask about.
Ata de reunião
In Portuguese, formal minutes are an ata. For an assembleia geral, a condominium meeting or a board, the Board / committee meeting template records attendance and quorum, motions, votes and resolutions as a draft for the secretary.
Transcrever reunião do Teams
The bot joins through the meeting link as a guest, so Copilot and Teams transcription aren’t needed. If your organisation blocks external guests, record the meeting and upload the file.
Portugal–Brazil teams
Spelling and vocabulary differ between Portugal and Brazil. The transcript follows what each person said; read the minutes through before you send them, as you would any draft.
In-person meetings
Record a meeting in the room with the iPhone or Android app — it keeps recording with the screen locked — and the transcript and minutes follow when you stop.
Ask in English about a Portuguese meeting
Search and Ask MinutesMaster work across languages: ask in English or Portuguese and get answers with citations that play the exact moment of the recording.
Atas without a chatbot
Rather than pasting a transcript into a chatbot and asking for an ata, MinutesMaster writes the minutes from the recording itself, with the transcript attached for checking.
Frequently asked questions
- How can I transcribe Portuguese audio to text?
- Upload the audio or video file (up to 2 GB), record in the browser or the mobile app, paste a YouTube or Google Drive link, or send the bot to a Zoom, Teams or Google Meet call. The Portuguese transcript with speaker names and the minutes follow automatically.
- Does it work for both European and Brazilian Portuguese?
- There is no variant setting: the spoken language is detected from the audio and transcribed as Portuguese. The minutes are written in Portuguese unless you choose another language.
- Can I translate Portuguese audio to English?
- Yes. The transcript keeps the Portuguese as spoken; translate the transcript or the minutes into English, or set English as the minutes language from the start. The original stays next to the translation.
- What about meetings in Portuguese and English, or Portuguese and Spanish?
- No language setting is needed. Mixed-language meetings stay in one transcript, and the minutes are written in the one language you choose.
- What are meeting minutes called in Portuguese?
- Formal minutes are an ata (ata da reunião; the older spelling in Portugal was acta), and a transcript is a transcrição. An informal write-up is a resumo da reunião.
- Can it record a Teams, Zoom or Google Meet call in Portuguese?
- Yes. Paste the meeting link to send the bot; on Teams and Google Meet someone admits it from the lobby if the organiser requires it, and for Zoom you connect your Zoom account once.
- How much does Portuguese transcription cost?
- The same as every language: 1 credit covers 30 minutes of audio. New accounts get 5 free credits (2.5 hours) without a credit card; then credit packs from €9 or Pro (€19 a month, 40 credits) and Business (€49 a month, 120 credits).
- Is my meeting used to train AI?
- No. MinutesMaster does not use recordings, transcripts or minutes to train AI models. It is run by a Czech company and hosted in Europe under the GDPR, and you can delete any meeting at any time.
