Dutch meetings, notulen without a notulist
Upload a recording or send a bot to Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Google Meet. MinutesMaster writes a Dutch transcript with speaker names and minutes with decisions and action items — and an English version for colleagues who don’t read Dutch.

Notulen and action items, straight from the recording
In Dutch and Flemish meetings someone usually has to take the notulen. MinutesMaster takes over: it transcribes the meeting, separates the speakers by voice and writes structured minutes in Dutch — attendees, agenda, summary, decisions, action items with owners and the next meeting — with detailed narrative minutes alongside.
Dutch meetings switch to English as soon as an international colleague joins, and Brussels teams move between Dutch and French. Mixed-language meetings stay in one transcript without choosing a language first, and Flemish is simply Dutch: there is no variant setting. Characters such as ë and ï (coördinatie, ideeën) are kept in every export.
In the mobile app, Follow-ups collects every open action item from every meeting in one list, with owners and due dates — the actielijst many Dutch teams keep by hand. The web app is available in Dutch, and recordings are never used to train AI models.
In English: the office move is postponed to mid-March; Daan Jansen calls the contractor and sends round a new schedule on Friday.
How Dutch transcription works
From a call or a file to notulen you can send, in four steps.
- 1
Capture the meeting
Upload audio or video up to 2 GB, record in the browser or the mobile app, paste a YouTube or Google Drive link, or send the bot to a Zoom, Teams or Google Meet call.
- 2
Admit the bot if asked
When the organiser requires it, someone in the meeting admits “MinutesMaster AI” from the lobby. For Zoom, connect your Zoom account once and stay in the meeting.
- 3
Review names and action items
Bot recordings take names from the meeting participants; for uploads, rename each speaker once. Edit decisions and action items before you share.
- 4
Translate and export
Add an English version or any of the 38 languages, then download Word or PDF notulen, a TXT transcript, or SRT and VTT subtitles.
What you get from a Dutch meeting
Notulen, the full transcript and an English version for everyone else.
Dutch, Flemish and mixed meetings
Dutch from the Netherlands and Flanders is processed the same way, with no variant to pick, and meetings that switch to English or French stay in one transcript.
Diaereses and accents kept
Ë, ï, é and the other accented letters — coördinatie, ideeën, café — are kept in the transcript, the notulen and the PDF, Word, TXT, JSON, SRT and VTT exports.
Speakers named once
Voices are separated automatically; bot recordings use participant names, and a name you type once is used everywhere.
Notulen with action items
Attendees, agenda, summary, decisions, action items with owners and the next meeting, plus detailed narrative minutes; open action items also land in Follow-ups in the mobile app.
English for the wider team
Translate the notulen or the full transcript into English or any of the 38 languages; the Dutch original stays alongside.
Exports for every reader
DOCX for editing, PDF for sending, TXT and JSON for other tools, and SRT or VTT subtitles for recordings you publish.
Good to know for Dutch meetings
Situations Dutch and Flemish teams ask about.
Notulen maken met AI
Instead of pasting notes into a chatbot, let MinutesMaster write the notulen from the recording itself, with the transcript attached for checking.
ALV, VvE and works council
For an algemene ledenvergadering, a VvE meeting or an ondernemingsraad, the Board / committee meeting template records attendance and quorum, motions, votes and resolutions; the secretary checks the draft before it is adopted.
Teams without Copilot
The bot joins through the meeting link as a guest, so Copilot and Teams transcription aren’t needed. If your organisation blocks external guests, record the meeting and upload the file.
In-person meetings
Record a meeting in the room with the iPhone or Android app — it keeps recording with the screen locked — and the transcript and notulen follow when you stop.
Ask in English about a Dutch meeting
Search and Ask MinutesMaster work across languages: ask in English or Dutch and get answers with citations that play the exact moment of the recording.
Frequently asked questions
- How can I transcribe Dutch audio to English?
- Transcribe the recording in Dutch first, then translate the transcript or the minutes into English — or set English as the minutes language from the start. The Dutch original stays next to the translation.
- Does it work for Flemish?
- Yes. Flemish is processed as Dutch: there is no variant to choose, and the language is detected from the audio.
- What are meeting minutes called in Dutch?
- Notulen (always plural), taken by the notulist. Many teams also keep an actielijst (action list) and a besluitenlijst (list of decisions).
- What about meetings that mix Dutch and English?
- No language setting is needed. Mixed-language meetings stay in one transcript, and the minutes are written in the one language you choose.
- Can it join a Teams, Zoom or Google Meet call in Dutch?
- Yes. Paste the meeting link to send the bot; on Teams and Google Meet someone admits it from the lobby if the organiser requires it, and for Zoom you connect your Zoom account once.
- Can I transcribe Dutch audio for free?
- Yes, to start with: every new account gets 5 free credits once — 2.5 hours of audio — without a credit card. After that, 1 credit covers 30 minutes, with credit packs from €9 (10 credits) or Pro at €19 a month (40 credits).
- How long does it take?
- Minutes are typically ready about 1–2 minutes after an upload finishes; the median was 1.4 minutes for a 38-minute recording, measured in October 2026.
- Is my meeting used to train AI?
- No. MinutesMaster does not use recordings, transcripts or minutes to train AI models. It is run by a Czech company and hosted in Europe under the GDPR, and you can delete any meeting at any time.
