Ask ChatGPT about every meeting you had
Add MinutesMaster to ChatGPT as a custom MCP app, mention @MinutesMaster in a chat, and ChatGPT can find what was said, pull the minutes and action items, and quote the speaker and timestamp — from meetings recorded on Zoom, Teams, Google Meet, your phone or a YouTube link.

How do you connect meeting notes to ChatGPT?
MinutesMaster runs a remote Model Context Protocol (MCP) server at https://api.minutesmaster.ai/mcp. In ChatGPT on the web you add it as a custom MCP server, sign in to MinutesMaster and choose the permissions. After that, mention @MinutesMaster in a chat and ChatGPT can search your transcripts, read the minutes and list decisions and action items — with the meeting, speaker and time it got them from.
The meetings themselves can come from anywhere. The MinutesMaster bot records Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet calls; the iPhone and Android apps and the browser record in-person meetings; and uploads, YouTube links and Google Drive files work too. As of October 2026, OpenAI’s own Meetings feature in ChatGPT is a beta for the macOS desktop app on Pro and Business plans and does not join calls as a bot, so MinutesMaster is a way to get meetings from any platform into ChatGPT.
AI-agent access is included on every MinutesMaster plan, including Free. Reading and searching meetings costs no credits; new recordings use credits, exactly as they do in the app.

https://api.minutesmaster.ai/mcpCheck it works: ask your agent “Which MinutesMaster account am I connected to?”
Plans and workspaces
Web only. Business, Enterprise and Edu get read and write access (an admin may need to turn on developer mode); Pro can only read. ChatGPT can’t use API keys — it always signs in. Older workspaces: Settings → Apps → Advanced settings → Developer mode, then Apps → Create.
Sign-in or API key?
ChatGPT always signs in with OAuth — it can’t use API keys. If you also build with OpenAI tools, Codex and the OpenAI API can use a personal MinutesMaster API key (mm_pat_…) instead; keys are scoped, expire and can be revoked one by one.
Using OpenAI Codex too?
The same server works in OpenAI Codex. Add it with codex mcp add, sign in with codex mcp login, and Codex can read the decisions from yesterday’s design review while it works on the code they describe, or turn a customer call’s action items into a task list.
The Codex CLI, IDE extension and desktop app share one config file, so a single setup covers all three. For CI jobs and scripts, use an API key from an environment variable instead of signing in.
1.Add the server:
Terminalcodex mcp add minutesmaster --url https://api.minutesmaster.ai/mcp2.Sign in to MinutesMaster:
Terminalcodex mcp login minutesmaster
What ChatGPT can do with your meetings
25 MinutesMaster tools, each behind the permission it needs. ChatGPT calls them when you mention @MinutesMaster; the tools that import, translate or send a bot need a plan with write access (Business, Enterprise or Edu).
Search transcripts and minutes
Find what was said by meaning or keywords across all your meetings and the ones your teams share, then read the full transcript with speaker names, page by page.
Decisions and action items
List decisions and who owes what across weeks of meetings, filtered by date, folder, tag or team — each item linked to the meeting it came from.
Import recordings by link
Give ChatGPT a YouTube, Google Drive or public audio or video link and MinutesMaster turns it into a transcript with minutes. Uses credits, with your permission.
Send a bot to Zoom, Teams or Meet
Paste a Zoom, Teams or Google Meet link into the chat and ChatGPT sends the MinutesMaster bot to the call. Minutes follow automatically when the meeting ends. Needs write access and the spend permission.
Translate across 38 languages
Ask in English about a meeting held in Polish, or have MinutesMaster translate the minutes or the whole transcript into another language.
PDF, Word and subtitle exports
ChatGPT can give you a short-lived download link for the minutes as PDF or Word, or the transcript as text, SRT or VTT subtitles, or JSON.
Things to ask ChatGPT
Start with @MinutesMaster so ChatGPT knows to use your meetings.
- @MinutesMaster Summarize my meetings from last week in five bullet points.
- @MinutesMaster Draft a follow-up email for this morning’s Teams call.
- @MinutesMaster Which action items from September are still open, and who owns them?
- @MinutesMaster What did Jana say about the budget? Quote her with the timestamp.
- @MinutesMaster Transcribe this Google Drive recording and write the minutes in English.
- @MinutesMaster Send the bot to this Zoom meeting: https://zoom.us/j/…
You decide what ChatGPT may do
ChatGPT gets the access you approve on minutesmaster.ai — no more, and only until you disconnect it.
Sign in on minutesmaster.ai
OAuth 2.1 with a consent screen that shows which app is asking. Your MinutesMaster password never reaches ChatGPT.
Three separate permissions
Read meetings, Organize & edit, and Send bots & import recordings. ChatGPT sees just the meetings your account can see. Transcripts reach it as data, and tools that change things or spend credits are marked so ChatGPT asks before using them.
Credits stay under your control
Sending a bot or importing a recording needs the spend permission, which is off unless you tick it. These tools offer a dry run first, so you see the cost before anything starts.
Disconnect at any time
Remove ChatGPT on the AI agents page of your MinutesMaster dashboard and access ends on its next request. Every tool call is logged there for you to review.
Frequently asked questions
- How do I add MinutesMaster to ChatGPT?
- On chatgpt.com, open the plugins page, click the plus button and choose Add custom MCP server. Name it MinutesMaster, paste https://api.minutesmaster.ai/mcp under Connection, choose OAuth and create it. Then sign in to MinutesMaster, pick the permissions and mention @MinutesMaster in a chat.
- Which ChatGPT plans can use MinutesMaster?
- Custom MCP apps work in ChatGPT on the web. Business, Enterprise and Edu workspaces get read and write access, though an admin may need to turn on developer mode; on Pro, ChatGPT can read your meetings but not change them. Older workspaces find the option under Settings, Apps, Advanced settings, Developer mode.
- Does it work in the ChatGPT desktop or mobile app?
- Custom MCP apps in ChatGPT are set up and used on the web, so use MinutesMaster in ChatGPT in the browser. Your meetings can still be recorded anywhere — with the MinutesMaster bot, the MinutesMaster mobile app, an upload or a link.
- Does it cost extra?
- No. AI-agent access is included in every MinutesMaster plan, including Free. Reading and searching meetings costs no credits; sending a meeting bot or transcribing a new recording uses credits as in the app. Your ChatGPT plan must support custom MCP apps.
- Can ChatGPT record my Teams or Zoom meeting?
- Yes, on plans where ChatGPT can use write tools (Business, Enterprise and Edu) and if you granted the Send bots & import recordings permission: it sends the MinutesMaster bot to a Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link. The bot may need to be admitted from the lobby, and the transcript and minutes appear when the meeting ends. On Pro, ChatGPT can read meetings but not send bots.
- What does ChatGPT see, and is my data used for training?
- ChatGPT sees what your MinutesMaster account can see, within the permissions you approved. What it reads is processed by OpenAI under its own terms. MinutesMaster itself does not use your meetings to train AI models.
- How do I disconnect ChatGPT?
- Open AI agents in your MinutesMaster dashboard and click Disconnect next to ChatGPT. Access ends on its next request.
