From a Catalan recording to text and minutes
Typing up a recording by hand takes hours. MinutesMaster transcribes Catalan speech, separates the speakers by voice and adds timestamps, then writes structured minutes: summary, agenda, decisions, tasks with owners and the next meeting. À, è, é, í, ï, ò, ó, ú, ü, ç and l·l are kept in the transcript and in every export.
Catalan-speaking teams often work with colleagues in the rest of Spain, France or further abroad, with Spanish or English as the shared language. Spanish and French are among the 38 supported languages too; mixed-language meetings stay in one transcript without a language setting, and the minutes can be written in Catalan, Spanish, English, French or any other of the 38 languages.
The web app is in English and 39 other languages (Spanish and French among them); transcripts, minutes and translations work in Catalan, and recordings are never used to train AI models.

In English: the campaign launch is postponed to mid-January; Jordi Vila sends the new schedule to the team on Friday.
How Catalan transcription works
Four steps from a recording or a call to a minutes draft.
- 1
Add the recording
Upload audio or video up to 8 hours and 2 GB (MP3, M4A, WAV, MP4, MOV and more), record in the browser or the mobile app, paste a YouTube or Google Drive link, or send the bot to a live meeting.
- 2
Choose the minutes language
Auto keeps the minutes in Catalan. Choose Spanish, English, French or any other of the 38 languages if the readers need it.
- 3
Set the names once
Type each speaker’s name once, with its diacritics — Puig, Vila, Ferrer, Soler — and it is used in the transcript, the minutes and every export.
- 4
Export or ask
Download Word or PDF minutes, a TXT transcript or SRT and VTT subtitles, and ask questions about the meeting in Catalan or English.
What you get from a Catalan recording
Text you can edit, minutes you can send, translations you can share.
Catalan with Spanish or English
Meetings that switch languages are transcribed without choosing a language in advance.
à, è, ç, l·l kept
Catalan letters (à, è, é, í, ï, ò, ó, ú, ü, ç and l·l) stay intact in the transcript, the minutes and the PDF, Word, TXT, JSON, SRT and VTT exports.
Speakers named once
Voices are separated automatically. With the bot, participant names from the call are matched to the voices; for uploads, rename each speaker once.
Minutes with decisions and owners
Attendees, agenda, decisions, tasks with owners and the next meeting, plus a detailed narrative version — a draft for the secretary to approve.
Translations for partners
Translate the minutes or the full transcript into any of the 38 languages and keep the Catalan original alongside.
Subtitles and documents
SRT and VTT subtitles for videos, DOCX and PDF for documents, and TXT and JSON for other tools.
Good to know for Catalan recordings
Common uses in Catalan-speaking companies, associations and universities.
Acta de la reunió
The minutes give you a structured acta draft — attendees, agenda, decisions, tasks — that the secretary reviews and approves.
Catalan and Spanish in one meeting
Meetings that switch between Catalan and Spanish keep one transcript; the minutes can be written in Catalan, Spanish or English.
Juntes and assemblees
For a board meeting or an association’s assembly, the Board / committee meeting template adds attendance and quorum, motions, votes and resolutions.
Catalan YouTube videos and podcasts
Paste a YouTube link to get a Catalan transcript, a summary and SRT or VTT subtitles that you can translate.
Ask in Spanish or English about a Catalan meeting
Search works by meaning across languages, so a colleague can ask in Spanish or English and get an answer with citations that play the Catalan moment.
