Delete your account

Permanently remove your MinutesMaster account and all associated data.

Overview

You have the right to permanently delete your MinutesMaster account at any time. This page explains exactly what happens when you do, what we are required to keep, and how to start the process.

If you only want to delete some of your data (for example, specific meetings or transcripts) but keep your account, see delete specific data instead.

How to request deletion

Choose either path. Both work.

Option 1 — In the app (mobile)

Open MinutesMaster on your phone, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account, confirm with your password, and tap Delete my account permanently. The app sends the request and signs you out.

Option 2 — By email

Email info@minutesmaster.ai from the address you signed up with. Use the subject Account deletion request so we route it correctly, or click the button below to open a pre-filled email:

Email a deletion request

We confirm receipt within 1 business day and complete the deletion within 30 days of receipt, as described below.

What gets deleted

When your deletion request is processed, the following data tied to your account is permanently removed from our production systems:

  • Your account record (email, password hash, profile)
  • All your meetings, recordings, uploaded audio and video files, and YouTube imports
  • All transcripts, summaries, action items, and any edits or annotations you made
  • Meeting metadata (participants, durations, timestamps, language)
  • Connected integrations (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Google Drive) are revoked
  • Active subscriptions on our side are cancelled
  • Authentication tokens, refresh tokens, and device sessions are invalidated

What we keep, and why

A small amount of information may be retained after deletion, strictly for the legal and accounting reasons listed here:

  • Tax invoices and payment records — Czech and EU accounting law requires us to retain invoices and associated transaction records for up to 10 years. These records contain your billing name, address, and the invoice total; they do not contain meeting content.
  • Anti-fraud and abuse signals — anonymised or hashed identifiers (e.g. a hashed email) may be retained to prevent repeat sign-ups by users we previously banned for abuse.
  • Aggregated, non-identifying analytics — counters such as "number of meetings processed last month" remain in our metrics but are no longer tied to your account.

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play are managed by those stores. Cancelling on our side stops billing on our records; to also cancel the store subscription, follow Apple's cancellation guide or Google Play's cancellation guide.

Timeline

  • Within 1 business day: we confirm your request by email. If we cannot verify the request comes from the account owner we will ask for a confirmation reply from the account email.
  • Within 30 days: account, recordings, transcripts, metadata, and connected integrations are permanently removed from production systems.
  • Within 90 days: data is also purged from encrypted backups as those backups roll over.

Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. We do not keep a "trash" or 30-day recovery window for deleted accounts.
